When we gush that this first-ever Italian cookbook from the experts at

Cooking Light magazine contains only the most bellisimo dishes, we’re not

exaggerating. And did we mention healthy? This collection goes way beyond spaghetti

and meatballs, showcasing incredibly good and good-for-you regional specialties—some

familiar, some not, but all with the Cooking Light Test Kitchens seal of approval.

Good, Low Fat Recipes - a Bit Pricey
This is a great little cookbook with gorgeous pictures of the completed

recipes. I’ve made many of the recipes in this book and have been well satisfied with

them. My only complaint is that the price is a bit steep for such a short cookbook.

Wheat Free Gluten Free Cooking Italian and more

This book is a compilation of gluten free recipes Most of them are dishes

influenced by our Italian heritage. My inspiration to write this recipe book comes from my

son, Corey. He was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at 29 years old. We come from a large

Italian family on my mother’s side, and so many of our wonderful Italian meals

consisted of “gluten” products. My grandmother, my parents, aunts and uncles

handed some of these recipes down and some are reconstructed from recipes I have

used over the years.

Recipe miss print
The amount of salt (1 1/2 tablespoons)in the recipe Tuscan Sausage page

112 must be a miss print. It was too salty to eat. An expensive and time consuming

disapointment. Other than that it is a good cook book.

Wild mushroom ravioli with kale and cream

October 13, 2009 by Pasta Recipes · Leave a Comment

Sometimes unplanned dishes are the most delicious (Ooh, a rhyme!). And sometimes making pasta for dinner is actually an excuse to eat kale. Those are ingredients I have added to our foods only about a year ago. Until that point in time, I’ve never heard or known anyone who ate them. Well, actually, in our close circle of family and f
